Everything you need to know about “Apple Pencil 2018”

The Apple Pencil is one of the most excellent tools any iPad Pro user can have, especially the artists who are passionate for sketching, etc. Well, finally the Pencil is now getting an upgrade! Today, in New York, Apple has announced the new Apple Pencil; and here’s everything you need to know about it!

What’s special about the new Apple Pencil?

In a quick blurb, Apple’s new Pencil has a fresh and outstanding design. It charges wirelessly, and also has some new functionality that w surely will catch proper attention than the older one has been able to!

New design

This newly released Apple Pencil is flat on one side, which will make the magnetic connection to the iPad Pro slightly possible to be much stronger and sit flat against the side.

How does the new Apple Pencil charge?

Apple Pencil charges wirelessly by magnetically connecting to the side of the new iPad Pro. It means your Apple Pencil doesn’t any more have a lightning connector on end and you don’t have to plug it into your iPad to charge it up! Also, while it connects to the side, it has made it much easier to keep track of your Apple Pencil.

New functionality

Excitingly, the new Apple Pencil also lets you double tap the pencil in order to switch between modes; even the eraser, making it handier than ever to access the mode you require while you’re using the Apple Pencil.

This newly introduced Apple Pencil is only companionable with the new 12.9-inch and 11-inch iPad Pro models. If you are looking for an Apple Pencil for the older models of iPad Pro (or the 6th generation iPad), you’ll need the older generation Apple Pencil.

What will be the price of it?

The price of a new Apple Pencil will be $129. Plus, it is now available to order and will soon be available in stores on November 7, 2018.
